We’re Tom and Mitsuko Nelan, your Japanology Translation team. Part of Japanology Kerry Consulting Ltd, founded in 2016, we specialize exclusively in Japanese and English translations.

Our focus on just one language pair allows us to deliver expert, high-quality work. Unlike many agencies, we never use translation software—every translation is 100% human, ensuring accuracy and avoiding common machine errors.

Mitsuko, our lead translator, is from Tokyo and holds a Master’s Degree in Japanese Literature. Fluent in English, she’s been a member of the I.T.I.A. since moving to Ireland in 2009.

 

Tom, a Kerry native and New York-qualified lawyer, manages client communications and ensures excellent service.
